 I have built a pair of book shelfs using 21 mm MDF mounted with 16 cm (6 inches) full range, Fostex FE166E.
A damping material was not required.
ag220z-cut Thickness of the plank is 21 mm for cabinets and fins.
Edges of the fins are rounded for a smooth sound passage.

Because of malfunction of the microphone (Primo EMU-4535-2), the new one (Microphone Madness MM-TMM-1) was used.
Therefore, a direct comparison with old data is not appropriate.
